CU Boulder Scholarship Application

The CU Boulder Scholarship Application allows undergraduate and graduate first-year, 继续, and transfer students apply for multiple 奖学金的机会 with one general application.

A scholarship committee does a comprehensive review of applications and selects recipients. Scholarships are highly competitive and selection for one is not guaranteed. Selection criteria may include, 但不限于, 你的学习成绩, 领导经验, 课外参与, 社区服务, 就业, 论文, 在某些情况下, 财务需要.

  When you'll be notified about your award

  • Incoming first-year student: 4月初

If you are a new student and have not received notification by early May, you were likely not selected for a scholarship. 通知 timing varies for recipients of "recommended" scholarships.

Step 1: General application

You will be prompted to complete the general application first. This application is used for multiple scholarships and requires information about extracurricular activities, 社区服务, 工作和论文.

 

Step 2: 推荐 opportunities

在你 submit the general application, departmental scholarships and additional recommended 奖学金的机会 may display. These opportunities require writing a special essay, submitting reference letters, 或证明资格.

Within the application, you can browse through additional external scholarships. Eligibility and application requirements for each scholarship vary and are listed in the scholarship details within the application.

Incoming, prospective first-year students:

Spring or Summer transfer students can apply for scholarships for the upcoming year, but scholarships aren't available for spring and summer terms.

研究生:

Only a small number of scholarships are awarded through the general scholarship application. The majority of scholarship/fellowship support at the graduate level is offered through your department or program. Additional funding sources may be found on the 研究生院 Funding page.

Incoming graduate students should 联系研究生院 for information on 奖学金的机会.

Continuing graduate students can access the scholarship application in 浅黄色门户.

2024-25 Academic Year Application Dates and 最后期限
