Community and Belonging

The Black Table Talk is an organic space for Black identifying students across the CU Boulder community to come together and unpack meaningful conversations essential to the Black experience through. The Black Table Talk uses grounding pedagogical practices that help participants feel empowered to own the spaces they exist in and share their differing opinions in constructive ways. The Black Table Talks are facilitated by Dr. Jazmyne Peters.

The Center for African & African American Studies (CAAAS) Lecture Series shares research on the historical, cultural, spiritual, sociopolitical, and artistic experiences of Africans, African Americans, and the African diaspora with the University of Colorado Boulder campus and broader community.

The Center for African & African American Studies Graduate Student Fellows Program is for University of Colorado Boulder graduate students conducting research and creative work in African studies, African American studies, and African diaspora studies. CAAAS Grad Fellows received a $6,000 summer stipend.
