She writes about media poetics as well as the history of computing, 媒体考古学, media theory 和 digital humanities. Her current book project is titled 其他网络, a history of telecommunications networks that existed before or outside of the Internet.
Her published books include THE LAB BOOK: Situated Practices in 媒体研究, co-written with Jussi Parikka 和 Darren Wershler (University of Minnesota Press, 2022) 和 Reading Writing Interfaces: From the Digital to the 书bound (University of Minnesota Press, 2014).
